PADI

The Performance Assessment Design Initiative (PADI) functions as an Innovation Laboratory for the Tri-State Consortium by promoting the increased capacity and use of performance-based assessments in participating districts. Embedded in its design is a careful consideration of and support for key components of the Tri-State Evaluation process including:
  1. Use of reflective, targeted, collaborative and rigorous professional learning experiences
  2. Use of multiple assessment data from different sources to ascertain needs and make decisions
  3. Attention to the need to select and differentiate instructional interventions to address diverse student needs
  4. Alignment of curriculum, instruction and assessment
